Dr. Okenwa Okoli is the Dean of the Herff College of Engineering. He is a Professor and former Chair of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Florida A&M/Florida State University and serves as the Associate Director of the High-Performance Materials Institute. His research focuses on cost-effective multiscale composites and advanced protective armor, receiving $36 million in external funding and leading to 10 US patent applications. Dr. Okoli's accolades include the R&D 100 Award and FSU's Distinguished Service Award. He holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s and PhD in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Warwick.
