M. Jeff Brittain joined UMRF Ventures in August 2026, bringing more than three decades of leadership experience across startups, mid-market organizations, and global enterprises. Most recently, he served as Executive in Residence at the FedEx Institute of Technology at the University of Memphis, where he led industry collaborations focused on next-generation supply chains, industrial AI, and AI compute and data center management. Jeff started his career at Accenture and then entered the industry, advancing through a series of leadership roles, ultimately serving as Head of IT, North America for Bayer, supporting a $16 billion business. His career has provided extensive international experience, working across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, including several years living in Basel, Switzerland. An Oklahoma native and Tennessean since 1990, Jeff is passionate about connecting people, sharing ideas, and helping organizations navigate innovation and growth. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, discovering local restaurants, and spending time with his wife, Angie, and their three daughters. He believes every person's story has the power to inspire and create meaningful impact.
