Randy G. Floyd
Randy G. Floyd, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology and Department Chair in the Department of Psychology at The University of Memphis. His research focuses on understanding the measurement properties of psychological assessments, and he is interested in understanding professional development processes supporting university-based faculty, including engaging in the peer-review process. Dr. Floyd has contributed to more than 120 professional publications, including five books such as Handbook Of University And Professional Careers In School Psychology (with Dr. Tanya Eckert), Publishing in School Psychology and Related Fields: An Insider’s Guide, and Assessing Intelligence In Children and Adolescents: A Practical Guide for Evidence-Based Assessment (with Dr. John Kranzler). He is the former editor of the Journal of School Psychology, and he serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment, Journal of School Psychology, School Psychology International, and School Psychology Training and Pedagogy. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association Division 16 (School Psychology) and an invited member of the Society for the Study of School Psychology.
